The last month of the year 2016 is here: December! A month that is known to be filled with surprises. We are quickly reminded of its festivities.
Here in Germany, the cities are all glam up. When going downtown at this period of the year, you can stumble upon the Christmas markets.
These markets are open from the last week of the month of November till December 23rd. What a great way to countdown up to the 25th! It’s definitely pleasurable to see all of these lights out. The excitement triggered when exploring a Christmas market happens as soon as you see yourself strolling between the small wooden houses aligned next to each other. Pic
Along the way, you will spot the vendors selling the specialties from the region. Ask me what a Christmas market is to me! My reply is simple: it’s the city’s advent calendar gift to us. Something new is always going to catch your attention, every day.Christmas markets are like the cities' advent calendar gift to us. Something new is always going to catch our attention every day. For this reason, it’s almost impossible to resist heading out and visit these markets across towns and indulge in one of the German’s traditional food, drinks, sweets or just soak in and see how the Germans live the moment. One thing is sure, the cold weather is not what’s going to stop them to sip a great glass of mulled wine, called in Germany Glühwein.
Therefore, it’s quite essential to think of what to wear in order to escape with friends, family or by yourselves. Do you agree how crucial it is to spend quality time and build memories? Especially when we all know that we are getting invites; weddings on the left, christenings on the right and even more events of that sorts. It’s not like the shops, whether online or onsite are not offering discounts and coupons that motivate us to spend.
That’s why I myself want to share with you, my December wardrobe wishlist, based on the events I would be attending. Everyone has at least one list hidden somewhere. Don’t blame me for wishing 🙂
I will be attending a friend’s wedding that will be around 2 weeks from now, in Paris. Therefore, I would like to glam up with the pieces I put together here. This black coat is stylish and dressy. I love the fact that it looks like a dress on the outside.
The outfit I see myself wearing to stroll the streets while heading to the Christmas market would definitely be this one right here. It’s comfy, simple and stylish all at once.
The last day of the year. I don’t know what kind of activities you would do on such a day. But for me, I stay home, watch church programs online or go to a local church. Nothing too fancy.
That’s it blissful peeps! I hope you’ve enjoyed the post. Drop me a comment and Keep up with my adventures by subscribing to my email list, following me on facebook, instagram, twitter, pinterest & bloglovin!
